Glossary

1. What is live streaming?

Live streaming is a way to show your audience your video the moment it's occurring in real life. Instead of showing them a recording of your event later, you can connect your audience using a live streaming link from YouTube, vimeo, twitch or other platforms. The link can be sent out ahead of time before your event for ease of use. That way, your audience can tune in whenever you’re ready.

2. Can I record and live stream at the same time?

Live streaming also typically includes an automatic recording option so that you can watch the recording later.

3. What are robotic cameras?

Robotic cameras are professional video cameras that are controlled remotely and send their video signal to a central location. Zoom, focus, pan and tilt are all controlled remotely and allow one user the ability to control multiple cameras at one time.

4. What is a podcast?

A podcast is recording the audio of one or more hosts or guests or a combination of the two that communicates information about a specific subject to the listener. The subjects can range from serious matters like unsolved homicides to comedic reviews of a certain type of movie. These recordings will often be released with a regular schedule using an RSS feed.
